Every year, on National Youth Day, i.e. on 12th January puja and garlanding to the statue of Swami Vivekananda is observed at Hutatma Park, Kolhapur in the presence of devotees, admirers, and dignitaries of Kolhapur Municipal Corporation. Stotras are chanted in the praise of Swamiji, and a passage is read from Swamiji’s literature. Cultural programme for the gathered school children is also organised. Programme ends with the distribution of prasad.
